By using this web page you can get a pretty good idea of where we are. http://www.pangolin.co.nz/xtras/yotreps/tracker.php?ident=kf6ydq
KF6YDQ is the ham radio call sign we use and when we send emails we can also send a position report. When I was sailing a lot it had a great history of all my trips. It seems right now it has pieces of some old tracks and is missing Anne and my trip home from La Paz in 2006.
We will see how it starts to track us as we head out the gate and head south.

A few days and counting till lift off
A big list of jobs is getting moved from the "to do before we leave list" to the "do before we leave Ensenada list", proabably some will be moved on new lists as time passes. We got some major projects done as seen in the photo. Anne has painted a lot of the boat white. We have new red cushion covers. Not shown, the cabins have doors, a new heating system, new water heater, new water maker, and we changed the refrigeration cooling. Anne finished trimming out the nav station, we sewed new sail covers, a bimini and did some new rigging, as well as a lot of new electronics and navigation software.

Preparing for the trip south
Ed, Anne and the cat "Ungaro" are getting the boat ready for another trip.
It's hard to believe it was 2006, seven years ago that Mucho Gusto last went to Mexico. We had just met.
This time we are planning a slow trip down and around the Sea of Cortez then over to the mainland and heading back north in May probably back in the bay area in June. As anyone who has done this knows the plans are written in sand and will change with every wave.
