Chat is really interested in this night heron that landed on his boat, had he not been attached to his leash I think he would have tried to get a lot closer

Got to sail with the spinnaker today. Very nice sail, more dolphins now in Dana Point.

 Well Anne and I are both in the pictures today as Seb is with us. Great place to visit if your in the LA area.

 Arriving at the Getty Villa, I thought I was going to visit a place I had been back in 1987, but it's not the old Getty. The grounds are truly amazing, the food very good, and the art as it was, very special. 

This is what morning looks like on the boat. I get my coffee in bed every morning at the house, Anne gets her's in bed on the boat. Foam and all.

I can't believe I lived down here for as long as I did. Great weather but life just isn't as relaxed as the bay area. Can't tell that by the sea lions.

This is pretty cool the grib file reader projects your position and tells you the wind speed for where it thinnks you will be based on your last position direction and speed. Click on the picture to enlarge it you can see what I am talking about.

Great day of sailing arriving at the Pacific Corinthian YC at sunset. You might wonder why your not hearing about all the stuff we do working on the boat, it's a long list but today we fixed the alternator, I think it hasn't been working since August, but I have so much new stuff and we are using way more power than I normally would that I thought it was normal to be needing to charge the batteries. Well after fixing that we motored very little today and we really didn't even need to plug in for the night. Amazing what working stuff will do for you. A day full of dolphins, the reason there are no pictures is I love driving this boat under sail and Anne is cooking as well as talking to family in Belgium, she is sharing this trip with live skype broadcasts.

 The cat is thinking maybe this could be my boat. I could go fishing.

Amazing Day

 Started with this beautiful sunrise

 We are leaving Morro Bay about 6AM

 The light got nicer and nicer

 The humpback whales got so close I heard them before I saw them. I got a lot of tail shots as they stayed at the surface and kept popping them up. Two of them swam along with the boat for a while.

Testing out the cats new harness, doesn't seem to be really excited about it. I hope he gets that going for a walk is not that bad. He has a hard time getting me to take him where he wants to go, since he wants to go where ever I am not going.
