getting ready to go north

We had a last chance to talk to Belgium before we got out of cell range for a couple of weeks so Anne tried to take care of some business. It didn't go well and took a long time. Next the reefing lines were not quite right so I worked on that. After getting underway I noticed the alternator didn't seem to be working. I had Anne sail the boat while I checked out the engine. Just a wire the mechanic didn't put back. Anway as we get out towards the point it didn't seem like it was a good time to make the trip fun, so feeling a little stressed from the morning we decided we would wait till tomorrow.
